All products sold by Opto Labs are strictly for laboratory research purposes only and are not for human or animal consumption.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that you are purchasing materials for legitimate laboratory research use.
All Sales Are Final
Due to the sensitive and specialized nature of research chemicals and laboratory materials, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for:
- •Opened products
- •Used products
- •Products that have been removed from original packaging
- •Improper storage after delivery
- •Buyer error or change of mind
This policy is in place to ensure product integrity, quality control, and safety.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged item, an incorrect item, or a missing item, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected].
Your request must include: order number, clear photos of the item(s), and photos of packaging if damaged in transit.
Failure to report within 48 hours may result in denial of replacement.
If approved, we will replace the item at no cost or issue store credit at our discretion. We do not provide cash refunds unless required by law.
Shipping Issues
Opto Labs is not responsible for carrier delays, weather delays, incorrect addresses provided by the customer, or failed delivery attempts.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or failure to receive, reshipping fees will apply.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By completing a purchase, you agree that you are authorized to use the payment method provided, that you understand all products are sold for research use only, and that you agree to this Refund Policy.
Filing a fraudulent chargeback after receiving goods constitutes a breach of agreement.
Opto Labs reserves the right to provide order documentation, IP logs, delivery confirmation, and checkout consent records to the payment processor during dispute resolution.
Customers who initiate unwarranted chargebacks may be permanently banned from future purchases.
Order Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled if they have not yet shipped and the cancellation request is submitted within 1 hour of purchase.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
Refused Deliveries
If a customer refuses delivery of a properly shipped order, original shipping costs are non-refundable, return shipping costs will be deducted, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply.
Limitation of Liability
Opto Labs' total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.
Agreement to Terms
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read this Refund Policy, understand that all sales are final, and accept these terms.
